Released from Outlying Points

AGREEMENT
between the
UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
Northwestern District – Oregon Division
and the
UNITED TRANSPORTATION UNION – C & T Divisions
EXTRA TRAINMEN RELEASED FROM OUTLYING POINTS

The following understanding is adopted with the view that it will greater facilitate the handling of extra men who are released from service at outlying points.

Accordingly, IT IS AGREED:

An extra trainman released from an outside point must return promptly to the extra board point and, rail and highway conditions permitting, such extra trainman must report for service to the crew dispatcher within 12 hours from the time such trainman is released from duty at the outside point, unless other arrangements are made.

This agreement shall be effective April 1, 1985 and thereafter, subject to the condition that it shall automatically terminate and be of no further force or effect upon the serving of 30 days written notice by either party upon the other of its desire to so terminate the agreement.
