1. Continuous membership in the former Order of Railroad Conductors
2. and Brakemen, Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen,
3. Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, or Switchmen’s Union of North
4. America in addition to service in the Merchant Marine during a national
5. emergency and any military service together with continuous
6. membership in the United Transportation Union will be combined to
7. compute total continuous membership in the United Transportation
8. Union.
