Rule 61

RULE 61. RUNNING LIGHT – PILOTS – MESSENGERS.

1. When run light over district, engines will be accompanied by pilot.
2. Engineers will be compensated at through freight rate of pay for handling engines running light.
3. Engineers used to “messenger” dead engines will be paid the same rate and come under the same rule that would govern the running of engine in charge.
