This has reference to the conference on October 30, 1957, in regard to the application of the following agreements covering the splitting of vacations (the taking of vacations at two different periods):

For example:
An employee has scheduled his three-week vacation to commence December 8th. He subsequently requests and is granted permission to take two weeks of his vacation during June. He will advise the proper officer, at the time he takes his June vacation, of the period he desires to commence the remaining portion thereof, which must be on one of the designated dates: December 8th, 16th, or 23rd.
