Dear Sir:

This will confirm our conference at Kansas City on May 29, 1974 at which conference it was agreed:

The following work may be performed at Kansas City without affecting the “intact” status of a
train under Article VII of the National Agreement of January 27, 1972t

A. Westbound:

  1. Union Pacific engine added or Union Pacific engine already in consist moved to head end.
  2. Caboose changed out to conform with the Caboose Standards Agreement dated December 1, 1970 with UTU (C) & (T).

B. Eastbound:

  1. Engine removed from engine consist.
  2. Caboose changed out when the Company can document the need for that road caboose.
