MODIFICATION OF SCHEDULE RULE 47

Rule 47, “Handling Cabooses”, of the agreement between the above parties effective November 1, 1957 reads as follows:

1. Cabooses will be placed upon caboose track within 1 hour and 30 minutes after arrival at terminal and will be left on such track until after reporting time for following trip.
2. Caboose track shall be kept free from all cars other than those containing ice and coal for servicing cabooses.

It is agreed:

In the event the company elects to remove caboose or cabooses from the caboose track ahead of the retorting time of the train crew, or crews, who are to receive such cabooses the company will furnish suitable transportation to such cabooses for trainmen before departure of train.

This agreement will become effective April 1, 1958 and will automatically terminate 10 days after service of written notice by any of the parties upon the others of desire to terminate it at which time Rule 47 of the current agreement will be in full force and effect.
