RULE 107. TIE-UPS--COMPANY.  Engineers in unassigned services listed below may be tied up at any point where food and lodging can be procured and the tie-up time deducted, provided their time will begin at the expiration of eight (8) hours from time tied up and they shall receive a minimum of 100 miles for each day's work or tour of duty between tie-ups according to class of service and engine used.

1. Unassigned freight service on branch lines.  Local freight rates to apply.

2. Trains run for the purpose of loading and/or unloading and handling livestock. Local freight rate to apply.

       3. Circus trains.

      4. Special trains operated for the purpose of:

    (a) Official inspections. Freight rate to apply.

    (b) Exhibition purposes.             Freight rate to apply.

          (c) Making motion pictures.             Freight rate to apply.  

NOTE: This rule shall apply to engineers at outlying points who are required to perform  service on their layover day or days.
